Ann R. Cavanaugh, 89, wife of the late Daniel R. Cavanaugh, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Brandywine Senior Living. Born on November 10, 1929 in Brockton, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Alfonda and Helen (Maloney) Roy. She was a teacher at St. Eleanor Catholic School in Collegeville, PA.

She was an active member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling. She volunteered at Charlestown Play School and served on Board of Directors at Phoenixville Children’s Learning Center.

Surviving are: Daughter, Cathleen Jacob; Daughter, Eileen Doremus; Daughter, Jane wife of James Logue; Son, Daniel husband of Ada Cavanaugh; Daughter, Maureen wife of Jerry Smith; 9 Grandchildren: 5 Great-grandchildren: Many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Tracy Doremus, son-in-law, Jeffrey Doremus, and brother, William Roy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic Church, 502 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 11:00 am with Rev.

Michael W. Rzonca officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. Friends may call in church Friday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
