Alfred Earl Peveto, 90, of Port Acres, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Alfred was born April 26, 1928 in Orange, Texas to Burns Peveto and Oma McGee Peveto. He was a lifelong area resident and member of Proctor Baptist Church.

Alfred retired from Dupont as an electrician. He was a member of Madison Masonic Lodge #126, El Mina Shrine, and Orange Chapter OES. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Winona Peveto of Port Acres; and all the many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Rick Erwin officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
