Janette Duke, 71, of Bridge City, Texas passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 4, 1947 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Oris Thibodeaux and Etha Meche Thibodeaux. Janette was a lifelong area resident and was retired from Esther’s Seafood Restaurant as a waitress and manager.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 1, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Kevin Badeaux officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Eula Borel Cummings and brother, Nolan Thibodeaux. Janette is survived by her daughter, Michelle Figari and husband Scott of Bridge City, two sons, David McGee and wife Pam of Groves and Michael McGee and wife Shana of Houston, sister, Esther Benoit and husband John of Port Arthur, brother, Ophie Thibodeaux of Brenham and six grandchildren.
