Obituary for Allan Cortez Allan Legaspi Cortez, of Garland, TX, passed away July 20, 2018, in Rockwall, TX, at the age of 25. He was born February 20, 1993, in the Philippines to Crescente Cruz Cortez and Norma (Legaspi) Cortez. Allan graduated from Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland through the special needs program and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.

He was a joy to be around and will be missed very much by his family. He is survived by his parents: Crescente and Norma Cortez; brother: Alvin Cortez; sister: Joy Cortez; nephew: Calvin Cortez; niece: Clarisse Cortez; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Thursday, July 26, 2018, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Garland with Fr.

James R. Sharp officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday evening at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rowlett Location from 6:00 to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 7pm. Memorial contributions in memory of Allan may be made to Achievement Center of Texas at 2950 N. Shiloh Road, Garland, TX 75044 or online at achievementcenteroftexas.org.
