Allan L. Corrao, age 71, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at St John’s Evangelical Covenant Church of Millersburg with Reverend Kenneth Walther officiating. Private family burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.

Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Holmes County dog pound. Allan was born January 13, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York and was the son of Louis and Hilda (Hawkins) Corrao. On April 20, 1968 he married Donna White, she survives.

Allan retired from Ohio Bell. He was a member of St John’s Evangelical Church. Allan was a 20-year US Air Force veteran serving in Vietnam.

He was an animal lover and was crazy about dogs. Surviving in addition to his wife Donna are two daughters and their spouses, Heather (Kenneth) McManigal of Pickerington, Ohio and Paula (Andrew) Berger of Clinton, Ohio; five grandchildren, Bryer Berger, Brock Berger, Victoria McManigal, Tristen McManigal and Aidan McManigal; a sister, Patricia (Charles) Schneider of Novi, MI; and sister-in-law, JoAnn Corrao of New York. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jeffrey Corrao.
