Allen’s Obituary Allen Browning, 97, of Proctorville, Ohio, loving husband and father, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at River’s Bend Health Care Center, South Point, Ohio. He was born April 18, 1921 in Logan, WV son of the late Charles and Henrietta Johnson Browning. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Proctorville. He retired from C & O Railroad for 41 years and a WWII Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife Blanche C. Browning; three sons and two daughters in law Barry (Kathy) Browning of Proctorville, Ohio, Rick (Frieda) Browning of Georgia and Eric Browning of Charlotte, NC; one daughter and son in law Lynn (Jack) Justice of Proctorville, Ohio; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with visitation being held 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A graveside service with burial to follow will be held 1 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2019 at Highland Memory Gardens, Chapmanville, WV. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.
