Mrs. Allie Murray, 94 of Quitman passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 at Presbyterian Home Quitman. Mrs. Murray was born October 3, 1924 to the late Roger Guy Willaford & Bessie Christian Willaford. She was a member of the Quitman United Methodist Church and was active in the Methodist Women’s Group.

Survivors include her grandson, David S. Murray of Fl; granddaughter, Anna M. Sapp of Morven; and one brother, Kenneth Baker of Barwick. Mrs. Murray was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn W. Murray; brothers, Lloyd Willaford, J. W. Baker, and Jack Baker; sisters, Annie Lee W. Rentz, Laura W. Rentz, Margaret W. Shelly, Wilma B. Dailey, Iris Baker, and Nell B. Bozeman. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery.
