Allie Oldham Ray, 102, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at the Eastern Star Home, Louisville, KY. Mrs. Ray was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church, Vine Grove, KY. Allie was a strong independent woman who lived a full life of hard work, great cooking and wonderful travels.

She had much pride in the place she called “down home” and in her family. She loved sharing funny stories with her friends and family, she will greatly be missed. She was preceded in death by Monroe “Red” Oldham, late husband, Charlie Ray; a daughter, Frances McJimsey; a son, Minter Dale Oldham; and a granddaughter, Renae Frame Hudson.

Survivors include: Two children, Bobby M. Oldham & his wife, Patsy of Prospect, KY, Margaret Oldham Frame & her husband, Cary of Prospect, KY; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two nieces, Betty Jones, and Pam Marelli; one nephew, David Wilson. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Monday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Funeral services for Mrs. Ray will be held at 12:30 P.M. Monday, November 26, 2018 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in the Vine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Eastern Star Nursing Home, Louisville, KY or Hospraus of Central Kentucky.
