Obituary for Alma Foster Padgett (Foster) Alma Foster Padgett January 2, 1930 – January 6, 2019 With great sadness, Alma Foster Padgett passed away January 6, 2019 at her Annapolis, MD residence. Daughter to Mary Bobbitt Foster and Maurice Phifer Foster, Alma was born January 2, 1930 in Rutherford College, NC. She was the youngest of seven children, raised with faith and family pride.

Her love of music began early and Alma carried it with her to the end of life. Alma is preceded by her loving husband of 67 years, Henry Cecil Padgett as well as her grandson, Sean DuLaney. She is predeceased by brothers, James Foster, Henry Foster, Eugene Foster, Charles Foster and sisters, Laura Wilkerson and Beulah Berry.

Alma is survived by her children, James Padgett, Carolyn Nicholson, Nancy Spada and Sharon Keefer; grandchildren, Kelly Grey, Careyanne Deyo, Carly Dirghangi, Nick Nicholson, Brian Spada, Amanda Ceruzzi, Thomas DuLaney. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Carson, Ravi, Olivia, Emily, Claire, Alex and Nathan. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p. m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at Wicomico United Methodist Church.

Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Wicomico United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 298, Wicomico Church, VA 22579.
