Obituary for Mrs. Alma Russell Alma Russell, 90, formerly of High Street, Moira, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the home of her son in Marion, VA. Born on October 25, 1927 in Drayton, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Charlie S. and Beatrice (Hines) Moss. She was united in marriage to Napoleon J. Russell on April 25, 1945 in Spartanburg, SC.

He predeceased her on June 7, 1981. Alma is survived by four children, Robert and his wife, Kathy Russell of Reno, NV, Gerald and his wife Linda Russell of Bellmont, NY, Ricky Russell and his companion, Karen of Marion, VA, Debbie Garner and her companion, Rob of Glen Bernie, MD; two sisters, Bette Bridges of South Carolina, Sarah Brown of Maryland; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents; two sisters; Edna and Elizabeth and a brother J.D. There are no calling hours and services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be held at Sand Hill Cemetery, Dickinson, NY. Memorial donations in her name may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Mrs. Alma Russell please visit our Sympathy Store.
