Alveda Delores Fooks, 83 of Clairton, Pennsylvania, passed on Friday, October 19, 2018 at home. She was born February 27, 1935 in Clairton, PA, daughter of the late Oliver H. Sr. and Veda Bacon Fooks. Preceded in death a son Richard Fooks – Coon, and 7 Siblings.

Alveda graduated from Clairton High School class of 1953. During her many years in New York she worked in various capacities, including the clothing industry and housekeeping. She worked as an Office Manager for a Law Firm and also worked for Matel.

Surviving are sister, Haniyyah Muhammed-Kumar of Clairton, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. Friends will be received Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2-3:30 at the at the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, Inc., 449 Mitchell Ave. Clairton, Pennsylvania, Services will begin immediately at 3:30.

Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, Inc., Clairton PA.
