Obituary for Alysa Nicole Perez-Piris Alysa Nicole Perez-Piris, age 20, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, June 28, 2018. Her life began as a celebration, born on January 1, 1998 to Edgardo and Brenda Perez-Piris in Fayetteville, NC. Alysa was a beloved daughter and sister.

She is survived by her mother of Sanford, NC, her father of Marlborough, MA, her loving brother Derek Perez-Piris of St. Petersburg, FL and her aunts, uncles and many cousins and friends. She was the granddaughter of the late Ramon Perez and Raquel Piris from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Elwin and Virgina McIntyre from Newton Grove, NC. A beautiful, intelligent, and kind child, Alysa was afforded the opportunity to travel and live in many places as her parents both served in the USAF.

She was full of wonder, timid yet filled with an electric energy when laughing and loving her family and friends. She had an unwavering fondness of all four legged creatures and especially her cat, “Floyd”. Alysa was kindhearted and a planner.

She unselfishly donated her life saving organs to afford someone else a second chance on life. What an amazing gift her life has been for all who knew her. “We will always love you and miss you darling daughter and sister”.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, July 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at GRASSO FUNERAL MEMORIAL AND CREMATION. , 12515 Ulmerton Road, Largo, Florida 33774. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery, 7204 SE County Road 234, Gainesville, Florida 32641.
