Obituary for Amanda Jo Vowels Amanda Jo Vowels, age 37, of Corydon, KY, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018. Amanda was a free-spirited girl who loved her family and friends deeply. She enjoyed being outside so summer was her favorite time of the year.

Amanda had an eye for decorating and crafting. She adored all animals, especially cats. Amanda treasured her family above all else.

Amanda was preceded in death by her father James T. Bean. In addition to her husband, Brad Vowels, Amanda is survived by daughters Cailyn and Isis Lien of California, and Adlee Vowels of Corydon; mother, Patty Bean; sisters Amy Simpson (Doug) and Amber Watson (Ronnie); nieces Sydney Simpson and Ella Husk; and nephew Drew Simpson all of Henderson. Relatives and friends are invited to Amanda’s Life Celebration from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, and again on Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Reverend Kenny Kidd officiating. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Hope Animal Rescue Center, 526 Atkinson St, Henderson, KY 42420.
