Amanda Lain Shafer, 34, of Kokomo, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on October 26, 1984 in Logansport, she is the daughter to Kerry Shafer and Kimberly (Bassett) Shafer. Survivors along with her parents, are two sisters, Amber Weaver, Kokomo; Shantel (Bill) Cuppy, Logansport; brother, Kenneth (Amanda) Cook, Logansport; maternal grandparents, Phillip (Mary Ann) McIntire, Logansport; paternal grandparents, Bob (Janet) Shafer, Lockport, IN; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Bassett and her grandmother, Betty Shafer. Private services will be held at a later date by the family. You may leave condolences for the family at www.
