Amanda Marie (King) Hock November 15, 1978 – January 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Amanda Marie (King) Hock, 40, of Battle Creek, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019. She was born on November 5, 1978 the daughter of Robert and Sheri (Beatty) King. Amanda was a 1997 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School.

She was previously employed as a manager for Little Caesars. Amanda loved sports and was able to quote statistics for her favorite teams. She was an avid fan of the University of Michigan.

It was bond she shared with her grandfather Justus Beatty. She also was a fan of the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Cubs. Amanda was active in online discussion groups and forums with the National Kidney Foundation and enjoyed the friends she made there.

Amanda is survived by her mother Sheri King of Battle Creek and her father Robert (Nancy) King of Coldwater. She also leaves her sister Bobbie Jo King of Battle Creek and her brother Aaron (Nathan Douglass) King of Battle Creek. Amanda is also survived by her aunts Suzan (Edmond) Star of Lansing, Salli (Michael) Fahndrich, Sandra (Larry) McKee both of Battle Creek and Jacqueline (Tom Robbins) King and her uncles Justus (Carlisa) Beatty of Battle Creek and Michael King Sr. and her maternal grandmother Doreen Perez Beatty of Battle Creek.

Amanda was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Justus Beatty, paternal grandparents Jack and Eileen King and a special cousin Jason King. Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday at Royal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, January 11, 2019 at Royal Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation.
