(92) of Johnstown passed away December 6, 2018. Born November 19, 1926 daughter of Peter and Amelia Matovich. Preceded in death by parents, husband Joseph John Kondas, Sr. and son Joseph John Kondas, Jr., brothers Nicholas, Louis, Peter and Michael, sister Betty and infant sister Sophie.

Amelia was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by her daughter Amelia “Mickey” Vrooman (Lanny) and her son Richard Kondas. Her grandchildren Stephen Vrooman, Scott Kondas, Stephanie Deitke and Rebecca Briggs (Jeff) and great-grandchildren Charles and Abigail Deitke and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Amelia was a longtime member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church and a former employee of Bestform. Family and friends are invited to attend her services from 5-8 PM Sunday at Moskal-Reid funeral home where the Rev. Milan Dragovich will hold Pomen at 7 PM and to attend her Funeral Service at 10 AM Monday at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Committal Grandview Cemetery.
