Amy L. Monett, 35, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday November 7, 2018 in Methodist Hospital. She was a pharmacy tech at CVS Pharmacy. She was born March 12, 1983 in Terre Haute to Julie Scroggins.

Amy is survived by her mother and step-father, Julie and James Scroggins; her adoptive mother, Carole Monett; her children, Cyle and Caytlynn; brother, Justin Vermillion of New Mexico and his son August Vermillion; two step-brothers, three step-sisters, a special friend Ryan Baker and other aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by adoptive father, Al Monett; great-grandmother, Elizabeth Branaman; grandfather, James Vermillion; aunt, Kathy Jo Baker, and uncle, Pat Vermillion. Amy loved animals especially cats and dogs.

She loved spending time with her kids and also loved her job and reading. Visitation will be Monday November 12, 2018 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 7:00 pm in the funeral home with Mark Grayless officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the humane shelter of your choice or the Exotic Feline Rescue Center.
