Amy S. Bigelow, 50, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018, at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born, August 10, 1968, in East Liverpool, she is a daughter of William Wedgwood of New Castle, PA. and the late Sarah C. “Sally” Louk.

Amy was a 1986 graduate of Oak Glen High School. She was formerly employed at Liberty Tax, where she worked as a Tax Professional and she enjoyed working with her clientele. Amy was a member of the Rainbow girls and in the 1980’s she was crowned Miss Virginia Gardens.

She enjoyed crafting but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren. Amy was an avid Little Potter’s fan. She loved the excitement of watching Ryan and Kaleb running down the field.

Amy’s outgoing, kind, and compassionate nature, as well as her strong sense of humor, brought many close friends into her life. She was a mother figure anyone who came into her presence. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Graham “Scott” Bigelow; children, Sarah Bigelow, Joshua Bigelow (Erin Ford), Matthew Bigelow (Nathan Boyd) and Brittany Bigelow all of East Liverpool; sisters, Mary Ann Dietz and her fiancé Martin Laurich of Rogers and Rachel Councell and her husband Charles of Wellsville; she is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan, Kaleb, and Aria Bigelow; nieces, Chelsey and Kylie Dietz, Stephanie Erwin and Samantha Collins and nephews, Charles Joseph and Nicholas Councell.

Catholic Funeral Rites will be held, Thursday, December 13, 2018, at the Arner Funeral Chapel, at 10:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, Wednesday, December 12, from 4-8: 00 PM.
