Amy “Tea” Frazier June 27, 1921 – December 14, 2018 Mrs. Amy Frazier “Tea”, a native of Port Arthur, Texas she transitioned from promise to reward on Friday December 14, 2018 at her residence. She was a very loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, she was always willing to help in any way she could. She was always the voice of reason and had no problem saying what she thought and it she said it to you it was the “real deal”.

Amy was a faithful member of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Lee Arthur Kesse where she served on the Pastor Aide committee, usher board and was also a faithful member of the mass choir. She was then placed under the leadership of Pastor Richard Keaton Nash, where remained a faithful member until her death. Amy spent her youth years in Lemoyne, Louisiana where she was born.

She moved to Port Arthur Texas in 1926 where she continued to be a homemaker. Born: June 27, 1921 Death: December 14, 2018 Amy is preceded in death by her parents Jim Johnson and Adeline Johnson; her husband Willie Frazier; two sons Johnny Frazier and Leonard Frazier and one granddaughter Atonia Frazier Wise “Real Deal”; six sisters, Emily Dumes, Rina Grimes, Ollie Jones, Lela Johnson, Mattie Johnson and Beulah Johnson; two brothers Robert Johnson and Cydney Johnson; She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Larry Frazier (Cynthia) of Katy Texas, Betty Frazier of Houston, Texas, Willie Lee Frazier, Diane Frazier and Katherine Frazier of Port Arthur, Texas. 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 21 great great grandchildren, and one great great great grandson, and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 248 E. 18th Street, Port Arthur, Texas with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
