OBITUARY Audrey M. Abshire July 21, 1930 – January 29, 2019 Audrey M. Abshire, 88, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home. Audrey was born July 21, 1930 in Louisiana to the late John and Lucy Abshire. Audrey served in the United States Air Force and retired from Centergy Gas Company as an accountant.

She was very independent and enjoyed playing gold and scratch off tickets. Audrey was an avid reader and a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Audrey was preceded in death by her brother, John F. Abshire Jr

She is survived by her nephew, Ricky Abshire and his wife Gail of Port Arthur; great nephew, Jaime Abshire and his wife Kristi; great niece, Brittany Adams and her husband Johnson. A gathering of friends and family will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 1, 2019, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
