Anderson Byers September 26, 1944 – May 12, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Anderson Byers was born on September 26, 1944 to the union of the late John H. Byers and Genora Mitchem Byers affectionately known as Daddy Pap and Momma G in Cleveland, Arkansas. Anderson is the youngest of nine children. He departed this life on May 12, 2019 at 12:48 am at the age of 74.

Anderson will be lovingly remembered by wife of 54 years LuVellar Byers, daughter Andrela(Anthony) Timberlake. He will be fondly remembered as Paw Paw by his three grandchildren La Toya Hillery, JacQue’Timberlake, Corey Timberlake and his great-grandson Daxtin Ross. Preceded in death by his loving daughter Regina Byers Hillery (2005).

Known as (baby brother) by siblings the late Johnnie Byers, Liddy Mae Reed, Elizabeth Brewer, Jewerlean Gunnells, Julie Dooley, Booker T. Byers, Annie Mae Hammons, Curtis Byers, Cleo Byers. Survived by a host of nieces, nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. Anderson Byers would like to be remembered by family and friends as a man of God, a loving husband, father, grandfather and close friend.

He never met a stranger. He was especially close to his high school classmates of 1965 Menifee Arkansas. He loved sports, especially basketball, of which, he coached and played for many years.

He enjoyed driving his 1927 Model T and 1948 Chevy Truck on the weekends. Most importantly he loved life, talking to people and serving the Lord.
