Queen Ester Bell, 82, passed away May 2, 2019 at Truman Medical Center. She was born June 3, 1936, to the union of Tess and Opal Ramsey, who preceded her in death along with her five brothers; Sylvester, Roy, Earl, Rhett, Ben Ramsey. She was born in Jackson Tennessee.

She met and married her husband Benjamin Marshal Bell in 1953, who also preceded her in death. They were married 25 years. To their union eight children were born; Ben, James, and Queen Ella Bell also preceded her in death.

She was the backbone of her family. She enjoyed being a wife and mother. She loved her family with all of her spirit and heart.

She loved family gatherings, she enjoyed cooking until a few years ago when she could no longer do it. But she would still tell you how to do it. She had an infectious laugh, a loving warm generous heart.

Queen lover her children and grandchildren dearly, as well as her great-great grandchildren. Queen niece’s and nephews adored her and she felt the same about all of them. She attended Kingdom Connection Worship Center until her health failed her.

But she would watch worship T.V. all the time. Queen will forever be missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters; Helen Spencer, Doris Bell, Patricia Warfield (Vinson), Sarah Bell, one son; Tessy Bell (Latonya), two wonderful sisters; Hazel Childres (Frank), Gertrude Ramsey, nine grandson’s; Leslie and Vernon Spencer, Terrance and Terrell Bell, D’Averell Bell (Courtney), D’Andre Bell, D’Anthony and Dante Bell, James Vinson Bell, special friends; Kimberly Lee, Sheryl Dennis, Rosie Bradford, a host of loving nephews, niece’s, cousins, friends and her honorary daughter; Angie Davenport.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Mount Calvary Church of God in Christ 2422 Van Brunt Blvd. KCMO. Visitation 9:00 A.M. Interment Forest Hill Calvary Cemetery.
