Andres Cantu Cardenas, 66, of Paw Paw, MI, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 at his home. He was born March 5, 1952 in Laredo, Texas, the son of the late Jesus Morales Cardenas and Celestina (Cantu) Cardenas. On July 14, 1979 in Comstock, Andres was united in marriage to Betsylee (Ryan) Cardenas who preceded him in death in 2006.

He is survived by his daughter, Andrea (Roger) Miller, three sisters, Irene (Alan) Turner, Celestina (Nolan) Cardenas and Ruth Saaverda; Two Brothers, Oscar (Antonia) Cardenas and Alfonso Cardenas; Three Grandchildren, Angel Miller, Selina Edwards and Marcus Edwards; along with several emotionally adopted children and grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews. Andres was preceded in death by his parents in love, Candelario and Dolores Cardenas, grandchildren, Cataleya Miller and Christian Miller, sister, Isoria Molina, Brother, Antonio Cardenas, Brother, Abel Cardenas and sister, Estrella Cardenas. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave, Paw Paw.

Funeral Service will be held at Adams Funeral Home on Friday, January 4, 2019, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Horace Turner officiating. Interment will be on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Parmalee Cemetery, Middleville, MI.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist in burial and for his grandchildren’s education.
