Obituary for Andrus Guidry Rayne- Funeral Services will be held for Andrus Guidry, 86, on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel with Deacon Tommy Adams officiating. Visitation will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, May 16, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM and will resume on Thursday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the service time. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Sts.

Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Scott, LA. Mr. Guidry passed away on Monday, May14, 2018 at The Elllington (formally The Rayne Guest Home) in Rayne, LA. Mr. Guidry is survived by his daughter, Linda Gail Meaux and her husband, Wayne of Duson, LA; sons, Dennis Guidry and his wife, Debbie of Duson, LA, Curtis Guidry and his wife, Deanna of Duson, LA, Rayford Guidry and his wife, Ramona of Mire, LA and Steve Guidry and his wife, Nelda of Rayne, LA; fourteen grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren as well as one sister, Evelyn Sonnier of Rayne, LA He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Mae Alleman Guidry; parents, Maurice Guidry and Lydia Richard Guidry; sister, Eula Mae Simon and one granddaughter, Tammy Lynn Guidry.
