Obituary for GLORIA BELLE BABINEAUX (ARCENEAUX) A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Church Point for Gloria Belle A. Babineaux, 87, who passed away on Monday, December 03, 2018, at 12:32 A.M. at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette. Rev. Emmanuel Awe, SSJ, Pastor of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church will be officiating for the services.

Burial will be held in the Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church Old Cemetery in Church Point. The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services all at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Church Point. Survivors included eight daughters, Carol and husband, Lawrence Malbrough of Lafayette, Ethel Babineaux Lewis of Beaumont, TX, Patricia and husband James Clemons, Jr. of Lake Charles, Sandra Babineaux of Church Point, Michelle and husband, Howard Andres of Church Point, Monica and husband, LeRoy Citizen of Church Point, Phyllis and husband, Wayne Singleton, Sr. of Opelousas, Leona and husband, James Baloney, Sr. of Church Point; one sister, Ruby and husband, Jack Sharlow of Sunset; two brothers, Vincent Ray and wife, Rose Arceneaux, Sr. and Joseph and wife, Ursula Arceneaux both of Beaumont, TX; eighteen grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Ms. Babineaux was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lee Babineaux; one daughter, Gwendolyn Babineaux Francois; one grandson, Alex Babineaux; her parents, Joseph and Leona L.
