Elmire Marie Bergeron November 13, 1938 – January 16, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Church Point, LA: Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2019 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Mrs. Elmire Marie Faul Bergeron, 80, who passed away at 1:57 AM Wednesday, January 16 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Deacon Byrne Winn will conduct the funeral services and entombment will take place in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum on Hwy 35 north of Church Point. Mrs. Bergeron, a resident of Sunset, LA, was the daughter of the late Leslie Faul and the former Edna Begnaud.

She is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Bergeron of Church Point, Melanie B. Lanclos of Sunset and Greta B. Badeaux and husband Ron of Broussard, LA; one son, Michael Keith Bergeron of Sunset; eight grandchildren, Danelle and Dustin Huval, Colby Bourque, Brad Melancon, Corey Mitchell and Hunter Jude Lanclos and Hailey and Cole Badeaux and eleven great-grandchildren, Kyra, Kade, Ayden, Alexander, Charlee Rae, Bailie, B.J., Braxton, Brylie, Ave and Elijah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Bergeron; her parents; three sisters, Mary Lee Thomas, Dorothy Mouton and Shirley Faul and three brothers, Russell, John Dale and Roosevelt Faul. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Thursday, January 17 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM and continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until the time of services.

A rosary will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM. Personal condolences may be sent to the Bergeron family at www. guidryfuneralhome.com.
