Angela Lee Black Snider, 56, of Hickory, died Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Trinity Ridge in Hickory. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Pastor Doug Huttleston officiating. Burial will follow at Panther Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Angela was born on November 3, 1962, in Iredell County, NC. She had worked at Lincrest Furniture in Lexington. She enjoyed exercising and loved animals and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Swanson Smith. Surviving are her mother, Virgina McPherson Smith of Asheboro; father, Phillip Wayne Black (Nina) of Hickory; sisters Rhonda Faye Massey of Asheboro, Nancy Yoder (Andy) of Hickory, Tammy Amell (Matt) of Raleigh; uncles and aunts, Bobby Wright, Becky Hogan (Calvin), Tony Wright (Donna); nieces and nephews, Audrey Brooke Gordon, Josh Yoder, Ariel Roark, Piper Goldsmith; great nieces and nephews, Brandon Allred, Avery Corley, Piper Goldsmith, Noah Yoder, Chloe Yoker, David Roark. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, prior to the service at Ridge Funeral Home.
