Anita M. Biscoe, age 89 of Smyrna, DE, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late John and Anna (Hayden) Marine and worked for nearly 30 years at the former Wil-Tex textile company. Anita was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother and enjoyed taking road trips, shopping, and going out to dinner.

She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and her appreciation of classic western movies. She will be dearly missed. Anita is survived by her sons, Bruce (Laura) and John; her grandchildren, Dana, Darren, Amiee and Jonathan; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Gladys O’Neal; her niece, Kathy; nephew, Michael; and her very dear and lifelong friend, Sandy Anderson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Frank Marine. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may visit beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be held in All Saints Cemetery.
