Ann Bonnell Morean, 88, of Williamsport, turned the page and ended the final chapter of her life on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Gatehouse. She married Elwood L. Morean, Sr. and shared 41 loving years with him until his passing on March 2, 2003. Born September 22, 1930, in White Pine, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Ida (Hughes) Bonnell.

Ann attended school in a one room school house and worked as a seamstress at local business establishments over the years. She retired from Shop Vac and also worked in home health as a visiting angel. In recent years, Ann took to writing and had several books published in the past ten years.

She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, crosswords, and gardening. She was very independent and was an avid reader who read a book a day. She enjoyed listening to country music and spreading her love around to family.

Most of all, Ann loved her family and found joy in their accomplishments and listening to their daily activities. Surviving are her two sons, Michael R. Morean and Elwood L. Morean, Jr. (Kathy) both of Williamsport; two daughters, Judy C. Schmoldt (Roland) of Florida and Ranee D. Eckard (John) of Williamsport; 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild and several very special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Gail S. Price, two grandsons; Timothy Morehart and Blair Eckard, and her four siblings.

A funeral service to honor the life of Ann will be held 12 p.m. Wednesday, February 20 at Knight Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave. , Williamsport. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at Knight Confer Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ann’s name to Susquehanna Health Foundation, c/o The Gatehouse, 1001 Grampian Boulevard Williamsport, PA 17701.
