John W. Paulhamus, 62, of Williamsport, died Sunday, March 24, 2019 at his home. Born September 8, 1956, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Joseph D. and Lorraine E. (Brown) Paulhamus. John was a 1974 graduate of Williamsport High School and retired from the United States Navy after 20 years as a boiler technician.

John served on the USS John F. Kennedy and received the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. He was active in the former VFW Post # 844 and served on multiple committees for the Veteran’s Day parade. Surviving are a son, Christopher Paulhamus (Cassandra), of Jersey Shore, two grandchildren, Mackenzi and Shelby Paulhamus, two brothers, Michael Paulhamus (Donna), of South Williamsport and Bruce Paulhamus (Susan), of Florida, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Diane Yearicks.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis “Louie” and Edward “Sarge” Paulhamus. In keeping with his wishes there will be no services.
