Jack A. Bernstine, 67, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. Surviving is his loving wife of 44 years, Sherry J. (Wagner) Bernstine. Born November 25, 1951 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late James M. and June L. (Steppe) Bernstine.

He enjoyed fishing, Penn State Football and gardening. Jack was well-known throughout the neighborhood for being passionate about his immaculate garden. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children; Adrienne Bernstine-Hornberger (Russ Regel), of Montgomery, and Brandon Bernstine; two grandchildren,Zarin Hornberger and Jeziah Hanner; and a sister Sandra Bernstine. A memorial service to honor the life of Jack will be held 2 p.m. Saturday March 23 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport with the Rev. Gwen N. Bernstine.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Sanders. Memorial contributions may be made in Jack’s name to Susquehanna Health Foundation c/o Hospice, 1100 Grampian Blvd. , Williamsport, PA 17701.

The family would like to thank everyone for their support, especially Dave Moore for his weekly visits and continued friendship.
