Robert E. Wagner, 81, of Linden passed away after a lengthy illness Friday, March 1, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. Surviving is his loving wife of 61 years, Connie L. (Gair) Wagner. Born April 15, 1937 in Williamsport he was a son of the late Chester A. and Elsie M. (Alexander) Wagner.

Robert graduated from Williamsport High School and attended Penn State. He was a self-employed mason, as the owner and operator of Robert E. Wagner Masonry until he turned the business over to his son. For 36 years, Robert was also the Lycoming Township Supervisor.

A hardworking, family man, Robert loved life on his farm. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming and was a member of the West Branch Builders Association. Surviving in addition to his wife are five children; Kim M. Cipriani (Scott), Carol A. Hostrander (Larry) all of Williamsport, Judy A. Casey (Chris) of Hanover, Jeffrey S. Wagner (Darlene) of Linden, and Stacey L. Wagner (Jay Zimnicky) of York; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes no services will be held at this time. Memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s name to, Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
