“Pop Pop, The Man, The Myth, The Legend” said a t-shirt that was purchased by his beloved family. James “Jim” Stuck, 81, jumped into his Piper airplane and left this world on May 10, 2019. Born Nov.

11, 1937, in Oil City, he was a son of the late Clifford and Dorothy Blauser Stuck. Jim graduated from Cranberry High School in 1955 and received his degree from the Williamsport Technical Institute. He owned and operated his own business as a manufacturing representative in the commercial heating and air conditioning industry.

Jim was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and flying. He was a member of the Newberry Lions Club, Keystone Porsche Club, Quiet Birdmen and Dietrick Lamade Lodge No. 755 F. & A.M. James was a member of Lycoming Presbyterian Church.

He served in the Army National Guard. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, H. Dewane (Hickoff) Stuck; children, Jodi L. Puller (Roy), of Williamsport, Granger A. Stuck (Maria Todd), of Sammamish, Wash. ; and grandchildren, Ethan and Kaycee Puller and Hudson, Miranda, Charlotte and Audrey Stuck.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Carmen Wojtowicz, and Leonard and Lionel Stuck. A memorial service to honor the life of Jim will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Lycoming Presbyterian Church, 825 Arch St., with Rev. Larry LeFeber officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, 100 N. Academy Ave. , Danville, PA 17822.
