Mary Ann (Rank) Labuski, 83, of Williamsport, passed peacefully Saturday, May 11, 2019 at her home. Born March 26, 1936 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Harold Rank and Verna (Batkowski) Maurer. Mary Ann was a member of St. Joseph the Worker.

She retired from Tetley Tea after 25 years of service; it was here she earned the nickname “Mabel”. Mary Ann enjoyed playing cards, polka music, and traveling on bus trips and to the beach. Surviving are her children, Donna M. Boyer, of Williamsport, Diann Ambs (Richard), of Williamsport, and Mary Louise Mahonski, of Williamsport; three grandchildren, Shaun Boyer (Jessica), of State College, Lydia Moon (Abram), of Cockeysville, MD, and Madeline Mahonski, of Williamsport; two great-grandchildren, Addison and Jackson; and her siblings, Catherine Luke, of Williamsport, Edward Rank, of Williamsport, Kaye Sharar, of Williamsport, and Harold Maurer Jr., of Jim Thorpe.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step- father, Harold Maurer, a brother, Stanley Rank, and a son-in-law, Richard Boyer. A Mass of Christian Burial to honor Mary Ann’s life will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, May 23 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 West Fourth St. Williamsport. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 9 – 9:45 a.m. Thursday, in the Portico at St. Joseph the Worker. The family will provide flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Mary Ann’s name be made to St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 711 West Edwin St. Williamsport, PA 17701.
