Shirley Rogers Thomas, 89, of Williamsport, went home peacefully to her Lord and Savior and was reunited with her loved ones on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Manor Care Health Services North. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, William S. Thomas. Born Dec.

4, 1929 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Francis Rogers and Ellen (Stone) Ivins. Shirley was a graduate of Williamsport High School. She enjoyed reading and puzzles.

Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Surviving are her children, Shelley A. Selleck (Timothy), of Trout Run, James R. Thomas (Carol), of Cogan Station, John R. Thomas, of Harrisburg, and William S. Thomas Jr., of Auburn, Maine; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Thomas, and a granddaughter, Katherine Wentz.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held in Montoursville Cemetery.
