Ann’s Obituary Ann Everett, of Chickasha, OK, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at the age of 92, in Chickasha. Ann was born on February 20, 1926, in Soper, Oklahoma, to MD and Evelyn Chapman Darnell. Ann grew up in Chickasha, graduating from St. Joseph’s Academy in 1944.

She married R.A. Everett on March 17, 1946, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They made their home in Chickasha where R.A. helped manage Everett’s Food Store with his parents. Ann was a homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family.

She took exceptional care of their special needs daughter, Glenda, for fifty-two years until Glenda’s death. She was a generous lady who liked to laugh, shop, and drink coffee with her friends. Ann is survived by her husband of seventy-two years, R.A. Everett, of Chickasha, OK; Niece, Jamie Darnell Butler of Midwest City, OK; and great-nephew, Beau Butler, of Boston, MA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Glenda, and her beloved brother, Jim Darnell.
