Ann J. Jacobsmeyer, 85 years of Columbia, IL, passed away on February 2, 2019. She was born November 1, 1933, in Lawrence, NE. She was married to Bernard Jacobsmeyer, who survives her.

They were married January 16, 1954, in Cahokia, IL. Ann was a homemaker. She was a loving wife for 65 years, dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Also surviving are her children; Gary Jacobsmeyer, Gail Sotak, Tim (Nancy) Jacobsmeyer, Tom Jacobsmeyer, and Kevin (Mary) Jacobsmeyer; sister-in-law, Carol Reiter; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenny Jacobsmeyer, parents, Hans and Sophie, nee Frey, Reiter; brother, John Reiter; son-in-law, Peter Sotak; and daughter-in-law, Chris Jacobsmeyer. Private family services will be held at a later date.
