Obituary for Ann “Nancy” Gaudet (Donahue) Print Ann “Nancy” Gaudet (Donahue), 88, loving wife of the late Robert E. Gaudet, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 with her family by her side. Born in Hartford on May 3, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Donahue and Mary Quinn. She attended Hall High School in Hartford and lived her entire adult life in Meriden.

Mrs. Gaudet was employed by Meriden Trust and in retirement, was a checker for elections. She was a parishioner of St. Laurent Church and an active library patron. She enjoyed playing cards, having lunch with her girlfriends and was involved in many social activities at Coccomo.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Kapitulik (David) and Robin Carretta; three grandchildren, Shelley Kapitulik, Emily Wing (Adam) and Austin Carretta; several nieces and nephews, two grand dogs and one great grand dog. She was predeceased by her brother, Hubert “Pat” Donahue. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church, Our Lady of Mt.

Carmel Campus, 109 Goodwill Avenue, Meriden. Burial will be in St. Laurent Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden prior to Mass from 9 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers.
