Ann M. Rauch, 88, of Mingo Junction, Ohio formerly of Wintersville, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at her residence of natural causes. She was born July 26, 1930 in Steubenville, Ohio the youngest of eleven children to the late Vincent and Antonina Spiewak Sawka. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Rauch, in 2003, after 52 years of marriage; four sisters Stella Derda, Mary Solomon, Martha Sinchak and Betty Kross; four brothers Joseph, Vincent, Edward and Stanley Sawka; infant brother and sister.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for over 50 years and it’s CWC. Ann was a homemaker and a retired bookkeeper. A loving mother and grandmother, Ann is survived by her children Georgeann (Bryan) Vosi, Matthew Rauch, Becky (Richard) Pratko and Eleanor “Nonie” (Michael) Paprocki, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday from 4 – 7 p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Gossett officiating. Entombment will follow at Fort Steuben.

Vigil service Monday 6:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH 43943.
