Ann’s Obituary Ann Walters Martin, age 61, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 at Carolyn’s House surrounded by her loving family. Born May 19, 1957 in Mechanicsburg she was a daughter of Florence (Sheely) Martin of Mechanicsburg and the late Elmer “Bucky” Walters. Ann worked as a secretary for the Verber Family Dentistry office and the Cumberland Valley School District.

She also worked for PennDOT. Ann was a lifetime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Shiremanstown. She was an avid gardener.

Ann loved to bake and cook, especially for her family and friends. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. In addition to her mother, Ann is survived by her two daughters, Allison Roberts and husband James of Boiling Springs and Laura Martin of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, Michael Walters and wife Beth Ellen of Shiremanstown and Mark Walters and wife Jeanne of Wallingford; two granddaughters, Kara Ann and Grace Edith Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 11, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 44 W. Main Street, Shiremanstown. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will take place privately at St. John’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carolyn’s House,1701 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
