Anna Fuksa April 13, 1924 – March 29, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card The mass of Christian burial for Anna Fuksa, 94 year-old former Hennessy resident will be 10:00AM Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hennessey. Rev. Edward Menesco officiating.

Burial will follow in Bison Cemetery. The recitation of the most holy rosary will be Monday evening at 7:00PM in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Tony Crispo leading. Anna was born April 13, 1924 in Brainard, Nebraska to Michael and Marie (Stastmy) Linhart and died Friday, March 29, 2019 in Greenbrier nursing home.

She attended grad school in Nebraska until the family moved to Oklahoma where she attended St. Joseph’s Catholic school. On June 4th, 1945 she married Ernie Fuksa and the couple made their home in Hennessey. They had a farm near the Garfield and Kingfisher county line.

Anna first worked for Williams Dry Goods then later for Marquis Studio. She also worked at the Caboose Dry Cleaners in Hennessey. She was a long-time member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hennessey.

She enjoyed Polka and Square dancing with Ernie. She also loved to play cards and did so until her eyesight failed. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire Greenbrier Staff, David Markes and Willard Patocka, whom visited her and brought her the Eucharist.

She is survived by her god-daughters Alma, Wilma,Karen and Patty and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ernie, and five sisters, two brothers and one infant brother. Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
