OBITUARY Anna Kay Bell August 26, 1952 – January 3, 2019 Anna Kay Bell was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019. She was 66 years old.

Anna was born Aug. 26, 1952, in Washington, Ga. , to Willa Mae and Allen Gresham.

She soon after moved to Terre Haute, Ind. , as an infant. Anna attended Booker T. Washington Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Middle School and Wiley High School, and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School.

She worked production line at Columbia House Records for 10 years, as a nurse’s aide at the Vigo County Home and Royal Oaks for 25 years, and later worked part time as a transportation monitor at Head Start for three years. Anna met her loving husband and best friend, Clarence Edward Bell Sr., when she was 16 years old. During their 39 years of marriage they had six children, five boys and one girl.

They were both members of Greater Victory Temple Church with Pastor Tino Smith. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family and had a personality and smile that would light up a room. Anna was always the first one to start dancing at any family functions and was never afraid to crack a joke.

She loved sitting on the porch with her dog, Max, doing her crossword puzzles and drinking a cup of coffee. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone she met, she never knew a stranger and she always made you feel right at home. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Edward Bell Sr., her mother Willa Mae Gresham Rice, her brother Donald Gresham, her father Allen Gresham and stepfather Eugene Rice.

Anna is survived by her children, son Clarence Edward Bell Jr. and Michelle Bell, son Casius DelWayne Bell Sr. and wife Lesley V. Bell, son Marcus LaVohn Bell and wife Jennifer L. Bell, son Michael Alan Bell and special friend Shanell Minor, son Austin George James Bell Sr. and special friend Robin Lindley, and daughter Ariane Alisabeth Clarissa Bell; her 15 grandchildren, Leilah A. Bell, LaShy S. Bell, Regann M. Bell, Alexandria L. Bell, Casius D. Bell Jr., Shaelynn V. A. Bell, Ella C.F. Bell, Caelen E.L. Bell, Shayanna J. Bell, Jaedyn A. Bell, Kaetlyn L.M. Bell, Keira L.M. Bell, Aaliyah N. Bell, Saniyah L. Bell and Austin G.J. Bell Jr.; her four great-grandchildren, Tyler Jr., Daniel, Elise and Maya; her five sisters, Ruby Cornelous, Barbara Gresham, Dorothy Johnson, Marjorie Smith and Patricia Strong; her two brothers, Jack Gresham and David Gresham; and also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers-in-law. Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m., with special comments from family and friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St., Terre Haute, Ind.

A funeral ceremony will take place at noon on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at Bethlehem Temple Church, 1432 S. 13th St., Terre Haute, Ind. Anna will be laid to rest next to her husband in Grandview Cemetery.
