Wayne Gorman, 72, of Terre Haute passed away December 30, 2018 at Southwood Healthcare. Wayne was born October 7, 1946 to Ernest Gorman and Cora “Fitzgerald” Gorman. He is preceded in death by both parents; his wife Marsha; son Wayne “Buddy” Jr; Brother Ernest “Ernie” Gorman as well as his brother-in-law Ed and Sister-in-law Anne.

Wayne is survived by his wife Barbara Boothe; son Michael Gorman (Sharon); Brothers Tim Gorman (Karen) and Lee Gorman; sisters Judy Euriga (Pat) and Helen Darlene MacNeil; Sister-in-law Patty Gorman; Grandchildren K’Lynn, Monica, Ashley, Jennifer, and Tyrus; Great-grandchildren Ashton, Harrison, and Tanner, as well as many nieces and nephews. Wayne was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. He enjoyed being a handyman and especially loved working on cars.

Wayne was very selfless, always helping others before himself. He grew up learning the value of hard work, helping out on the farm and no matter what would always be there for family. Wayne was fortunate to travel around the world; even visiting the Fiji Islands.

Visitation for Wayne will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on January 5, 2019 from 11:00-1:00 PM with services beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery will follow. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to South Side Church of Nazarene.
