Obituary for Anna M Miller Anna Marie Miller age 97, of Austin died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Home- Albert Lea. Anna was born May 30, 1920 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Marie Starnick. She grew up in Pittsburg and attended country school.

On March 16, 1954, she was united in marriage to John Miller in Wincester, West Virginia. The couple later moved to Austin, due to the flip of a coin. John was a baseball player and it was heads Austin, tails Baltimore.

To this union three sons were born. Anna enjoyed many things, polka dancing, card club, fishing, baseball game and the MN twins. Survivors include her sons Tim (Pat) Miller, Austin, Jim (Linda) Miller, Austin, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren She is preceded in death by her parents; husband John; son Johnny.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 8, at Mayer Funeral Home. Friends may call from 12-1 pm at Mayer Funeral Home on Thursday May, 8 2018 Condolence may be online at www. mayerfh.com.
