Obituary for Anna Mae Snodgrass (Stricker) A Celebration of Life for Anna Mae Snodgrass, age 91, of Enid, formerly of Ames, is 10:00 am, Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Ames Baptist Church with Pastor Lyle Buller officiating. The family will lay Anna Mae to rest in a private burial next to her husband Noble in the Ames Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born in Ringwood, OK on November 29, 1927 to Bill and Ellen (Weathers) Stricker, and passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in Enid. She married Noble Snodgrass on June 11, 1945 and they had eight children, Leon (Judy) Snodgrass, of Grove, Ok; Rhonda Jantzen; Peggy Mason; Wayne (Cindy) Snodgrass; Linda (Doug) Crawford; Dale (Linda) Snodgrass, all of Ames; Jo (Craig) Roberts, of Enid; and Jackie (Jason) Sternberger, of Kingfisher. She was the best wife and mom we could ever want.

She cooked, sewed, cleaned and put up with eight crazy kids. She loved and she played and sacrificed everything for her family. She loved to watch her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids play sports of all kinds.

She also loved the Lord and was a long-time member of the Ames Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons; five daughters; twenty-four grandchildren; fifty-six great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She leaves one sister, Betty Little and a brother, Jim (Linda) Stricker, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Noble Snodgrass; sister Inez Fisher; brother Johnny Stricker; two brothers-in-law, Chester Little and Ronald Lee Fisher. In lieu of flowers memorials in Anna Mae’s name may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Alzheimer’s division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
