Anna Marakovits May 06, 1928 – December 22, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Anna Marakovits, 90, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at home. She was the wife of the late Edward F. Marakovits, who passed on February 21, 1996. Born May 6, 1928 in Ormrod, she was a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Barna) Ruszin.

Anna was a floor lady at JJ&F Sportswear and Riegel’s Sportswear. She also was the owner and teacher of Marakovits Ceramics that was located in a building behind her home for 20 years. Anna was member of Queenship of Mary Church.

Anna’s life was filled with much kindness and generosity that she shared with many. She was an avid New York Yankees fan. Survivors: son, Dan Marakovits and wife, Kathy; daughter, Linda Mullner; grandchildren, Justin, Michael, Danny, Jocelyn and Meredith; great grandchildren, Brynn and Ethan; brother, George; sister, Marie Maroski.

Anna was predeceased by son-in-law, Joseph Mullner; brothers, Andrew and John; and sisters, Helen Hebrock and Sue Paly. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 28th at 10:30 a.m. in Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave. , Northampton.

Family and friends may call Friday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be presented to the church c/o funeral home in loving memory of Anna.
