Anna Marie McIntosh (nee Lopartz), age 86, born into eternal life on Friday, February 22, 2019. Anna Marie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert D. McIntosh; children, Joseph, Andrew (Andrea) and James (Jaime) McIntosh; grandchildren, Amy McIntosh, Deanne (Joseph) Herman and Cameron McIntosh. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sadie (nee Cieslak) Lopartz; and sister, Margaret (Walter) Kola.

Anna Marie was a devout Catholic and a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. She was a member and past president of American Legion Post #1080 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed her involvement within the organization. Anna Marie retired from Pozzi Insurance Agency after 40 years of dedicated service.

She loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Alden Estates in Shorewood and The Parc at Joliet for the wonderful care provided to Anna Marie over the past several months. “What good is life if you can’t help someone” – Anna Marie McIntosh.

A celebration of Anna Marie’s life will begin on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet.
