Obituary for Anna M. Silva Anna M. Silva Jan 25, 1974 – Oct 1, 2018 Anna Silva, 44, passed away Monday, October 1st after a long illness surrounded by her family. Anna was born to Edward and Adriana Silva and raised in Vallejo, CA. She attended school at Devereux California in Santa Barbara for 8 years and graduated in 1996 with her High School Diploma.
She was a current client of Connections for Life. Anna loved reading, collecting Cookbooks, enjoyed her collection of Beanie Babies, was a fan of Betty Boop, and enjoyed spending time with friends at Turning Point. She was crowned Baby Queen for the SCDES of Vallejo in 1980 at the age of 6.
She participated in the Special Olympics for 11 various years and loved to dance. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Silva, Grandmother Gilda Azevedo and Grandparents Joao & Louisa DaSilva, Uncle’s Joao & Amaro DaSilva, and Aunt’s Zelia (Max) Ferreira & Emilia (Gualter) Cabral. She is survived by her mother, Adriana Silva.
She is also survived by Godparents Eduardo & Isaura Cabral, Aunt’s Margaret (Orville) Hoover, Maria Louisa Rodriguez, Uncle’s Jose (Connie) DaSilva & Duarte (Paula) DaSilva, as well as many loving cousins, friends, and dedicated caregivers. Visitation will be held at Twin Chapels Mortuary from 4 – 8 pm, Sunday, Oct 7th with a Vigil Service at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, Oct 8th at St. Basils Catholic Church in Vallejo.
Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Vallejo. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society in care of St. Basil’s or to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to the direction and care of Twin Chapels Mortuary, Vallejo 707 552-6696.
