Anna L. Tamoglia, 91, died peacefully June 6, 2018, at her home surrounded by family and love. She was born March 27, 1927 in Ravia, OK, to Ruth and Foy Love. She was the oldest of two girls, her sister, Jean, now residing in San Antonio, TX.

Anna spent her childhood moving all over the country before eventually settling in Memphis. Anna had a fierce love for reading, and spent much of her time getting lost in a good book. After graduating high school, she went on to study at St. Joseph’s, which lead her into her nursing career.

Anna was proceeded in death by her parents, and her husband Joe. She was the mother to five children, Deborah LeJeune (Phil), Johnny (Billie), Steve, Ruthie Ward (Jeff) and Donna Stephens (Greg). She was loved by multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even great great grandchildren – so many, in fact, the entire family has lost count.

She will be remembered by her family and friends for her storytelling, cake decorating skills, love of reading and crossword puzzles, her green thumb and sewing skills, but most importantly for the love she radiated for everyone. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 10, at 2 p.m. at the Waterford Plaza in downtown Memphis, where family and friends are welcome to come remember and celebrate Anna’s life.
