Anne M. Kogovsek, 91, of Girard, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles. Anne was born March 1, 1927, in Niles, Ohio, the daughter of Frank & Ann (Verhovnik) Butcher. Anne had worked for Atlantic Mills, in Youngstown, for twenty years as a stock person, and for most of her life was a devoted wife and mother.

She was a member of St. Rose Church in Girard. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Mark A. (Debbie) Kogovsek, of Vero Beach, Florida, her grandchildren; Wendy (John) McGonagle and Michael Kogovsek, and a great-granddaughter Isla McGonagle. Besides her parents, Anne is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Kogovsek, whom she married July 19, 1952 and died January 23, 2000, and her brother, Frank Butcher.

Private services will be held on Monday, July 23th at Blackstone Funeral Home. Anne will be laid to rest, next to her husband, at Resurrection Cemetery. Visit www.
